
4 indigent gets food carts from Gov. Tanco |
ROXAS CITY â Capiz Governor Victor A. Tanco personally distributed four food carts to four selected indigents of Roxas City as part of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) livelihood program, April 14, 2011. Gov. Victor A. Tanco said that the aim of the said program is to help its indigent beneficiaries and their families achieve its daily needs by providing them the capacity to earn money through the livelihood carts given to them. âThis is also in line with my development agenda, Vibrant Economy,â Gov. Tanco added. On the other hand, Capiz Provincial Agriculturist Mrs. Sylvia Dela Cruz announced that more livelihood packages will be distributed in Roxas City and the different municipalities of the province. Beneficiaries of the said livelihood program were Aurora Apruebo of Brgy. Banica, Ana Fuentes of Brgy. Mongpong, Dionisio Baes of Brgy. Cagay, Mardoquio Sancho of McKinley St., Roxas City. Each of them received a food cart livelihood package worth 20,000 pesos, which includes a bicycle cart, cooking utensils, gas stove as well as different frozen food items to be cooked such fish balls, squid balls, tempura and âkikiam.â (cppb) |
